SiteManager is a security certified IIoT Edge Gateway in the Secomea Industrial Communications Solution programme that ensures unified, uninterrupted and secure access to remote industrial equipment. The SiteManager 35xx series is a robust, DIN mountable industrial gateway that you install in machine control panels to provide remote access for on-demand, real-time servicing of industrial equipment.

As an additional feature, the SiteManager is capable of data collection, which allows service engineers to perform detailed cloud analysis for predictive and preventive maintenance of connected equipment.

Technology

Secomea is used by major machine builders and system integrators all over the world.

The solution consists of a control unit at the factory (SiteManager) and a web or Windows based client (LinkManager) for an engineer or end-user. These two components are tied together via a M2M communication server (GateManager). It is available as both a cloud based service and a stand-alone server and handles the connections and encrypted traffic.

You can now connect seamlessly to your devices over a secure WiFi network.

Security

Secomea has been officially security certified.

The independent security audit and assessment process was performed in accordance with leading standards and methodologies specified by NIST, ISA/IEC, BSI and ISECOM, and was conducted by the security organization ProtectEM GmbH in Germany in close cooperation with the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.

The Secomea solution will satisfy the security requirements of even the most diligent IT department. Using encrypted communication incorporating an industry recognised X.509 certificate and incorporating username and password authentication, Secomea is one of the most secure remote connection methods available.

Secure segmentation from your industrial and corporate networks and device level authentication restricts access to the items required. Everything else is inaccessible and cannot be compromised.
